Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform optical space communication without being affected with external noise light, by providing the photodetector in which the impedance value is changed in response to the intensity of external noise light, in photoreceiver for optical space communication. CONSTITUTION:External noise light intensity is measured at an external noise light receiver 13, the output in response to the external noise light intensity is detected at a voltage control circuit 14, it is converted into a voltage, it is fed to a photodiode 1 as inverse bias voltage, and the signal is amplified 3 via a load resistor 2 and output. When the intensity of external noise light is increased, the inverse bias voltage fed to the photodiode 1 is changed immediately with an external noise light detector 13 and a voltage control circuit 14, the load line is moved and reception can be made through the change of operation point.
