Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the noise band, by shifting the noise caused by the track crossing in the blanking period of the video signal and at the same time giving an automatic pause to the tape travelling at the moment when the noise signal enters the blanking period. CONSTITUTION:The monostable multivibrator MV is located at the rear stage of the noise detector DE and delivers the pulse every time the detection signal has the noise pulse. The vibrator MV, NAND gate G1 and inverter IN1 form the noise eliminator NK. The NAND gate G2 and inverter IN2 deliver the control pulses to transport the magnetic tape. The step motor is driven by the output obtained through the flip-flop FF1, NAND gate G4, noise eliminating circuit RC, inverter IN5 plus flip-flop FF1 and 2 each. Thus the magnetic tape is shifted to prevent the noise band from emerging on the screen.
