Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively dredge a water conveyance path whose upper side is sealed by providing a runner on the top of a body whose bottom is of a sleigh form and also providing a floater to float or sink the body.
CONSTITUTION: A sand pump 12 is mounted on the body 11 of the dredger S for sand and soil, having a sleighlike form on its bottom, and a running wheel 15 is provided at the front, rear, and top portions of the body. And, a sludge suction pipe 13 is connected to the suction side of a sand pump 12, and also a sludge feed pipe 14 is connected to the discharge side. When air is supplied the main float 16 and a lift float 18, water in the inside is discharged from suction and discharge ports 16A and 18A, whereby the floats 16 and 18 are floated by buoyance and thereby the body 11 and the sludge suction pipe 13 are also floated. When air in the floats 16 and 18 is evacuated, and then water is imbibed, the float 16 sinks below a water surface 9. By imbibing water into the float 8 in the same way, the sludge suction pipe 13 can be lowered down to the deposited sand sludge position through an arm 19.
