Here, seats 13 and 14 are provided on both sides of a scooped-out part 15 given on the periphery of the bush 7, and the width of one seat 13 is selected to be smaller than that of another seat 14. This construction permits to make the spring characteristic of the vibration-proof bush 7 symmetric when a tensile load is loaded on the tension rod 4 by the fitting load and the tare of a car body, thus improving the maneuverability and the stability of a car.
