Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the cutting property of the grinder chip by a method wherein the intermediate layer part of the grinder chip is formed of the projection piece of the core metal, hard grinder layers are provided by sintering on both sides thereof and the thickness of the grinder layers is turned out to be uniform.
CONSTITUTION: In the center of a seat plate part 2 for bonding alloy are provided the core metal 1 provided with projection piece 3 and having a nearly T-shaped form and a prescribed length and the stock material 7 for the grinder composed of grinding particles 5 having larger hardness than the core metal 1 and of a binder 6, and the substance thus prepared is put in a mold 11 and a molded body wherein the stock material 7 for the grinder is provided in layers on both sides of the projection piece 3 of the core metal 1. This molded body is heated under pressure and hard grinder layers (outside layers) 13 are sintered on both sides of the projection piece 3 of the core metal 1, whereby the grinder chip 12 for the cutting grinder is obtained.
