Abstract

PURPOSE: To discharge treated water through the flow spout without lowering the water level in a swirling type preservoir/concentration tank, by radially installing gradually-inclined groove for the treated-water from the center of the water- collecting tray having overflow bank.
CONSTITUTION: Sewage water, etc. is guided via the inlet spout 2 into the lower portion of the tank, is led upwards by the flow-direction control plate 3 letting it to swirl around the support 13, while settling suspension in the water, and then the water is discharged through the outlet pipe 10. After freed from settling suspension, the sewage water is removed from floating substance on the water surface by the scum ring 7, overflows the upper side of the edge of the overflow bank 6, enters the water-collecting tray 5, reduced in its rotating energy by the spoiler, is collected in the treating water outlet groove 14 installed on the water-collecting tray 14, is passed through the outlet spout 15, and is discharged from the treated-water outlet pipe 16.
