Abstract

PURPOSE: In a clutch device consisting of a plurality of claw clutches, to prevent an accident resulting in injury or death or overload of a motor by providing a mechanism which locks a clutch operating handle at a connection position.
CONSTITUTION: By shifting an operation lever 2 between A and B, a clutch claw 1 of each claw clutch is operated to engage a clutch. The operation lever 2 is acted by rotation of a pin 9 which is caught by a transverse fork 2b1 of the lever. The pin 9 is combined with a shaft 8 in one body and turned by rotating a handle 12. When the handle 12 is turned to raise the screw shaft 8 in the direction C, the lever is turned in the direction A to connect the clutch claws 1 for an engagement of a clutch. At the same time, as a set pin 11 enters a pin come-off preventive cover 10, it is not allowed that the set pin 11 is removed or the pin 11 is pulled out from the screw shaft 8 of the operation handle 12.
