Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately position a swing member by a method wherein the movable part corresponding to a rotor of a step motor is fitted to a swing member and a movable part corresponding to a stator is fitted to a fixed frame supporting the swing member, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A salient-pole 24 multiturns wound-up by a wire 25 is installed at a stator 21 fixed in a machine frame with set screws and an adequate number of stator teeth 26 are formed at the top of the salient-pole 24. And further, many swinger teeth 30 are formed at a swinger 22 fixed at a needle retainer of a needle base with set screws so as to swing freely and it is structured that these teeth 30 hold a permanent magnet 29 between them. With this, the current through a wire 25 wound up arount each salient-pole 24 of the stator 21 is controlled so that the position of the swinger 22 against the stator is controlled.
