Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate jitter of 15Hz or lower frequency components and to suppress fluctuation of reproduced picture, by suitably increasing the loop gain of an AFC circuit according to the degree of production of jitter components from VTRs. CONSTITUTION:An AFC circuit 1 consists of a phase detection circuit 2, integration circuit 3, and horizontal oscillation circuit 4. Diodes 21, 22 of the phase detection circuit 2 are mutually connected at the cathodes, and a synchronizing signal 12 fed to a connecting point 25 is fed to resistors 23, 24 with two split way. Further, the anode of the diode 21 is connected to the integrating circuit 3, and the horizontal oscillation output is converted into a saw tooth wave signal and fed as a comparison signal 11. The signal difference between the synchronizing signal 11 and the comparison signal 11 is output to the integrating circuit 3, and the time constant of an integrating circuit 26 is changed with switching of a selector switch 27 to change the amplitude of the comparison signal, allowing to increase the sensitivity of detection.
