Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Propylene or a mixed monomer of propylene with other olefin is polymerized preliminarily in the presence of a catalyst containing TiCl3 and an organic aluminum compound having a catalytic activity at least 2,000g polymer/g. TiCl3/hr until 1W100g prepolymer per g TiCl3 is formed and the prepolymer has a melt index not less than 100g/10mm.
