Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to effect vacuum sucking rapidly by a method wherein a hydraulic pressure generating chamber and a wheel cylinder side are communicated by a valve body of a pressure remaining mechanism in a condition before filling up brake liquid into the pressure remaining mechanism while the valve body effects a valve function similar to a conventional pressure remaining mechanism in a condition after filling-up the brake liquid.
CONSTITUTION: When a brake system is sucked by vacuum at filling up a brake liquid thereinto, a supporting body 7 of a valve body 6 for a pressure remaining mechanism 10 is held by proturberances 20, 21 so as to be apart from a lip 8a of an elastic lead valve 8, and the brake system at a wheel cylinder side and a hydraulic pressure generating chamber 11 are in a communicated condition through communicating holes 12, 13, a valve chamber 4 and a hole 7a of the supporting body 7. After the vacuum sucking, when the brake liquid is filled up by pressure, the supporting body 7 is contacted with the lip 8a closely after riding over the protuberance 21 and is set automatically to a position of an usual using condition, while the brake liquid opens the lip 8a through the hole 7a of the supporting body 7 and is supplied into the brake system of the wheel cylinder side. After it is filled up, a predetermined remaining pressure is secured in the brake system by a spring 5 and the lead valve 8.
