Abstract

PURPOSE: To ascend and descend the steep slope safely by a method wherein the speed of winding of the wire of the winch loaded on the truck and the circumferential speed of the travelling wheels of the truck are tuned, and the winch and the travelling wheels are driven by means of the same prime mover.
CONSTITUTION: When the truck ascends the steep slope jointly using the winch, a tip of a wire 4a is connected to an anchor buried around a pasture road at the upper side of the steep slope, and a winch drum WD and travelling wheels 2 are simultaneously turned when clutches C1, C2 are thrown in. In this case, the relative difference of the speed of winding V1 of the wire 4a and the circumferential speed V2 of the driving wheels of the wheels 2 is eliminated by means of a differential device D, and both load is equalized at all times. When only the wheels are driven separately, the differential gears D is is locked when a clutch G is released, and only the wheels 2 are driven. When using only the winch 4 under a stationary condition, the differential gears D is locked when the clutch C2 is released, and only the winch 4 is driven.
