Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize not only a simple and small-size constitution but an easy setting of the delay time, by using the monostable multivibrator (mono-multi) circuit for the delay unit. CONSTITUTION:The modulation signal produced from the modulation signal generator 1 is applied to the FM signal generator 2 to give a modulation to the FM signal. The output of the generator 2 is applied to the delay unit 8 for delaying to be given to the attenuator 4. The output of the attenuator 4 is applied to the mixer 5 along with the nondelayed FM signal supplied from the attenuator 4'. Thus both the signals are mixed up to each other. The output signal of the mixer 5 is converted into the intermediate frequency of the FM receiver or another proper frequency through the frequency converter 9 to be applied to the receiver. In such constitution, the unit 8 consists of several mono-multi circuits. The FM signal having a certain amplitude in original can be made to pass through a digital circuit. On the other hand, the mono-multi circuits connected in series can transmit the digital signals with a delay given by an amount equivalent to the output pulse duration with every circuit.
