Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the steady oscillation over a wide range of frequency, by using an LPF in the feedback circuit of the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The reference voltage is fixed at a certain level with application of the control voltage V to the terminal (a). Thus the capacity of the variable capacity diode 2 is controlled. As a result, the resonance frequency is decided for the loop including the quartz oscillator 1, TTLNAND elements 3 and 4 plus LPF7 and 8, respectively. And then the frequency of the oscillator output O is controlled by the voltage V. In such constitution of circuit, an LPF consisting of the resistance R and the capacitor C is provided to the feeback circuit of the elements 3 and 4. Then the unsteady working width is reduced for the elements 3 and 4, thus reducing the waveform distortion at the points C and D. As a result, the unsteady state can be solved for the voltage control quartz oscillator to increase frequency variable range.
