CONSTITUTION: Air introduced into a compressor 9 is compressed and charged from an inlet port 8 into air chambers 5 formed in the outer peripheral surface of a circular rotor 2. On the other hand, fuel is injected, under high pressure, from a fuel injection nozzle 13 into a combustion chamber 12 and ignited by an electric heater 11. The heat energy produced thereby is used for vaporizing cooled water injected into a casing 1 by a cooled-water feeding pump 18 which is set into operation when a seal 4 for a partition vane 3 comes to the bottom at the front. By the pressure of the vaporized steam, circular rotor 2 is further rotated, and the steam is discharged to the outside from an exhaust pipe 6 at the end of the expansion cycle.
