Abstract

PURPOSE: To stop articles to be transferred at a fixed position certainly by detecting the position of a capsule in the conduit in stop section and controlling the amount of suction air according to said detecting equipment, in capsule transport.
CONSTITUTION: When a capsule wagon 4 advances into a conduit 1 in stop section, a timer 7 is operated by a position detector D, and an output is generated at each AND gate after a fixed time, and one or more out of position detectors D1, D2, D3... transmit the detection signal to the AND gate, and the signal is input a discriminator 8. Thus, the position of the wagon 4 after a fixed time is detected.
