Abstract
PURPOSE: To make stretching of a wire possible to be compensated in a wide range and to prevent deteriorations of printing by controlling a braking force of rotation of a swing lever with a coil spring of a spacing mechanism of a printer.
CONSTITUTION: A friction is generated between a braking member 25 and a friction member 24 which is turned as a swing lever 17 turns to brake turning motion of the swing lever 17. Coefficient of friction and pressing force between the friction member 24 and the braking member 25 are set so that the braking force becomes smaller than the turning force of the swing lever 17 by a coil spring 20 and larger than the turning force of the swing lever 17 by an amount of change in tension of wire which is under operation. Being thus constituted, the swing lever 17 turns in a direction that a guide pulley is shifted outward to strain a driving wire to compensate stretch as time passes.
