Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the supercooling of the disk, secure a uniform extent of heat expansion after driving the device and then prevent the variance of the track position, by providing the screens between the magnetic disk and the shroud wall and the base each. CONSTITUTION:With rotations given to the spindle 3, the pack 1 in which the magnetic disks 2a and 2a' plus 2b are laminated is turned. And thus the head bar 6 is positioned by the actuator 7, and also the air currents C and C' are produced. The contact is limited for the currents C and C' to the shroud wall 5 or the base 4 which are cooled down by the screens 8 and 8', thus securing nearly the same conditions as the circulating current B. As a result, a uniform temperature can be secured among the disks 2a, 2a' and 2b each.
