Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the variance in characteristics due to temperature change, by making almost the same the temperature characteristics of photoelectric conersion element for monitor with those of photoelectric conversion element for reception. CONSTITUTION:The optical output of a light emitting diode 2 is transmitted to an optical transmission line 3. A part of the optical output is in photoelectric conversion with a pin diode 4 for monitor to control the driving signal of a driving circuit 5. Further, the temperature characteristics of photoelectric conversion element 4 for monitor are selected almost the same as those of photoelectric conversion element 6 for reception, then allowing to decrease the characteristic variation due to the temperature change in the optical transmission system.
