CONSTITUTION: A malodor adsorbent a such as soil or composts is charged by a a screw conveyor 5 into a storage tank 1 and is successively moved downward and is discharged to outside the tank through the bottom end discharge port 4 by an apron conveyor 3. During this time, malodorous gas (e) is dispersed and fed from the gas diffusion duct 2 in the lower poart of the storage tank 1. The malododours gas (e) contacts the malodor adsorbent (d), by which malodorous components are adsorbend or they are decomposed by the activated microbes and are thereby deodorized. The deodorized gas is then released into the atmosphere through an exhaust duct 7 by an exhaust fan 6 provided at the top of the storage tank 1. Since always the fresh adsorbent (d) is supplied from above, its malodor absorbing capacity is not saturated and the deodorization function is perfectly maintained at all times.
