Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to keep the voltage regulation of a brushless self-excited synchronous generator to be small in spite of capacity of a capacitor to be connected to an auxiliary current generating winding is selected to be relatively large by a method wherein capacitors are connected respectively to the auxiliary current generating winding and to a main current generating winding. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 11 having capacity C' is connected between the terminals of a main current generating winding 4 of a brushless self-excited synchronous generator, and capacity C of a capacitor 6 to be connected to an auxiliary current generating winding 5 is so selected to be relatively large as to have a flat-compound characteristic or an overcompound characteristic as an engine generator when the capacitor 11 does not exist. By this way, the terminal voltage of the generator at the time of no-load running is reduced, and in spite of the largely selected capacity of the capacitor to be connected to the auxiliary current generating winding, the characteristic as an engine generator becomes to have substantially a compound characteristic.
