Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce abrasion of a drum and to extend its service life, by supporting with guide rollers the outer circumference of a cam capable of producing an eccentric state equal to that of the drum, and maintaining a gap between the drum and an electrode constant. CONSTITUTION:The first eccentric cam 33 on a disc is fitted on drum rotation shaft 32 with its fixing angle adjustable, and the second eccentric cam 34 on the disc is fitted on the outside of cam 33 with its fixing angle adjustable. Each fixing angle of cams 33 and 34 is adjusted so as to produce the eccentric state of the outer circumference of cam 34 equal to that of drum 30, and then cams 33, 34 are fixed to shaft 32 with fastening nuts 36, 37. The outer circumference of cam 34 is supported with two guide rollers 39, 40 provided rotatably on support arm 38 under the lower side. Since drum 30 is not directly supported with guide rollers, abrasion of the drum is prevented and its service life can be extended remarkably.
