Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance drivability by supplying a negative pressure on the engine side to fuel oil discharge nozzle for predetermined period of time and by sucking in forcibly fuel oil from a fuel oil feed pipe during said operation, when a choke valve or the like serving as a means of fuel control, is opened during starting or acceleration.
CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure introduction pipe 9 is provided on the engine side of a shaft 8 of a choke valve 7. This pipe 9 is led to the side of a venturi 3 in an air intake duct 2 and connected to a passage 11 provided in a body 10. The passage 11 is connected to a negative pressure introduction pipe 12 provided to cross a large venturi 3 and a small venturi 4 and the end of the introduction pipe 12 is installed to face a fuel oil discharge nozzle 6. In the above passage 11 is provided a normally closed shut-off valve 13, which is opened for a preset period of time to respond to shifting conditions from idling to starting or acceleration time during outspacing, which allows suction negative pressure to act on a nozzle 6 through the introduction pipe 12 and sucks up and discharges the fuel oil in a feed pipe 5.
