Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the quality of a feed water of a PWR type nuclear turbine plant by providing a flush tank in a drain system of a moisture separator and carrying the resultant steam and water into a low pressure feed water heater and a condenser, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: In a PWR nuclear turbine plant, after a steam from steam generators 16 is carried to a high pressure turbine 1, a moisture separator 2, a heater 3, and a low pressure turbine 4 in series and completes the task, the steam is returned to a steam generator 14 via a condenser 5, a grand condenser 7, a condensate demineralizer 8, low pressure feed water heaters 10, 11, a deaerator 12, and a high pressure feed water heater 13. A drain pipe running from the moisture separator 2 is connected to a new flush tank 15. A steam and a water which are created in the tank are delivered into the low pressure feed water heaters 10, 11 through a pipe 6 and into the condenser 5 by a guide pipe 9, respectively.
