Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain position detection by preventing an influence of an interference noise with simple constitution by generating a similar signal from one sensor side when the other sensor is generating a main signal and by detecting an amplitude difference between both the signals. CONSTITUTION:Main signals from magnetic sensors 1 and 2 provided near the rotor are mixed at a prescribed ratio by the mixing circuit consisting of resistaces 3-6 and when sensor 1 generates the main signal, the other sensor generates a similar signal in phase with and smaller in amplitude than the main signal. Shaping circuit H1 consisting of resistance 15, omparator 17 and inverting circuit 19 and circuit H2 of the same constitution detect an amplitude difference between the main signal and similar signal to prevent the generation of an output pulse due to the similar signal and also to obtain at the output terminal a waveform-shaped pulse that corresponds to the main signal. Thus, accurate position detection can be carried out without being influenced by an interference noise from the other sensor.
