Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the consumption of fuel and decrease the pollution by exhaust gases by attaching hydrogen generators by electrolysis to an internal combustion engine, generating hydrogen during running and using this as an aid for fuel. CONSTITUTION:Pipe-type decomposing cells and makeup water are put into water tanks 1-1-1-30. The makeup water is successively lifted into each cell by a lift pump 3. Decomposition devices 18-1-18-30 are of pipe type wherein electrolysis is accomplished with the inside surfaces of the pipes as - pole and the inserted round bars as + pole. At this time, the electrolyte is sent as a water flow system through feed pipe or overflow pipes 19. The hydrogen generated in the decomposing devices mixes into fuel or the like and the mixture is used for the internal combustion engine or the like. In addition, hydrogen is generated by this apparatus by making use of night electric power or the like and is used for part of city gas or the like.
