Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare an adsorbing material for dehumidification and deodorization having easy handling property and high performance by mixing gypsum and water into zeolite as a base material and, drying the obtained molded mixture after cast molding.
CONSTITUTION: Gypsum and water are added to zeolite as base materials and mixed to form a sludge and, after said sludge is poured in a casting mold to be molded, dried to obtain an adsorbing material for dehumidification and deodorization. Thus obtained adsorbing agent has both dehumidifying and deodorizing properties inherent in zeolite and silica gel. Moreover, because it is molded by cast molding, it has easy in handling such as cutting or processing and is inexpensive.
