PURPOSE:To reduce the influence which data after release of interleave receives decoding error, by subjecting bits of each sample to interleave before coding. CONSTITUTION:In respect to information input from information input terminal 21, KC-number samples are stored in buffer 32a by every KS-number bits for every line by sample interleaver 32. Next, information is taken out from sample interleaver 32 by the indication of coding control circuit 25, and data is input to coder 23. Coder 23 codes information of KC-number bits into code C of NC-number bits. Communication line interleaver 24 stores the output of coder 23 by every NCnumber bits for every column into buffer 24a. The output is transmitted to communication line 26 by every line in bit arrangement, and is received in the receiving side as data where the error pattern is superposed.
