Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to read the voltage and frequency by one measuring instrument by providing a frequency/voltage converter which converts an AC output into the voltage corresponding to the frequency thereof, and giving the output to a voltmeter via a switch. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a portable generator 30 which is driven by an engine is controlled at a constant level by an AVR50, and the frequency thereof is regulated by a knob 10 which varies the returning force of a governor of the engine 4. An AC output 53 is given to a switch 33, and a DC output voltage value is indicated on a voltmeter 32. Furthermore, the AC output 53 is converted into a voltage corresponding to the frequency of the output by a frequency/voltage converter 70, and said voltage is indicated by the other scale on the voltmeter 32. Therefore, both the voltage and the frequency are indicated on one measuring instrument by switching, an expensive frequency meter is not reguired, the configuration of the generator is made small, and the cost can be reduced.
