Abstract
PURPOSE:To accomplish a joint use of brackets for an open type and a close type motors and to reduce an axial length by a method wherein the brackets are formed into an enclosed type and the external circumferencial section of a fan guide is press-fitted at a point on the internal circumference corresponding nearly to the center of an air vent which is formed on a housing. CONSTITUTION:Brackets 2a and 3a have no air vent and they are fabricated into an enclosed type. Hence, the brackets can be jointly used for an open type and a full-close type motors. All of air vents 10a and 11a to be used as air intakes and air vents 12a and 13a to be used as air outlets are formed in a housing 1. Also, the outer circumferential section of a guide 5a of fan guides 5a and 6a is press-fitted and fixed at a point on the inner circumference of the housing 1 corresponding nearly to the axial center of the air vents 10a and 12, and the outer circumference of a guide 6a is press-fitted and fixed on the inner circumference corresponding nearly to the axial center of the air vents 11a and 13a. Hence, an axial length can be reduced.
