Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to remove securely an impulsive noise appearing in a received demodulation output, by delaying data by more than a delay time needed for a decision on a received electric field intensity level. CONSTITUTION:Series PCM signal, output from receiver 9, is supplied to PCM demodulator 11 being delayed by data delay circuit 10 by prescribed time T2. On the other hand, a received electric field intensity signal, detected at 9, is compared to a reference level by level deciding circuit 12 and converted into a possible signal and impossible signal, which are supplied to gate circuit 14 and monostable multivibrator 13. In this constitution, when the time relation is born so that T1<T2< (T1+T2) (providing that T1 is the operation delay time of circuit 12 to a drop in received electric-field intensity and T3 is the output pulse width of multivibrator 13), D/A conversion 15 is not carried out with the signal of circuit 14 in the period when noises are considered to be mixed, and consequently the noise can securely be removed by holding the previous value of data in this period.
