Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled stable composition, having improved effectiveness, and comprising a specific amount of a hydrophobic liquid insecticidal and acaricidal compound, a specific amount of polyvinyl alcohol or gum arabic as a suspending assistant therefor, a suitable amount of a thickening agent and the rest of water.
CONSTITUTION: A stable, safe, easily handleable and inexpensive composition having improved effectiveness, and comprising 1W50wt% α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl 2-(4-chlorophenyl)isovalerate rich in α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (+)-2-(4-chlorophenyl)isovalerate and an antipode mixture thereof as a hydrophobic liquid insecticidal and acaricidal component, 2W10wt% polyvinyl alcohol or gum arabi as a suspending assistant, suitable amount of a thickening agent and the rest of water.
