Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for setting a reference value in order to simplify and shorten the inspection process in discriminating between good and bad clock modules by comparing the module being measured with a standard module at each identical measuring point.
CONSTITUTION: The standard module 1 satisfying a setting value the the module 2 to be measured in quality are connected to a power source 3. Current-to-voltage converters 4 and 5 detect the currents at measuring points, and transmit the voltages to a comparator 6. A variable voltage source 7 sets the allowable error. Measurement is performed by selecting the function by means of switches SW1 and SW2. This can cope with the change of the module model simply by changing the standard module and altering the setting of the allowable error.
