Abstract

PURPOSE:To impress magnetic field onto a yoke effectively, by using a magnetic body equipped with a pair of pole pieces connected to the yoke. CONSTITUTION:A pair of magnetic bodies 11, which are provided with their respective pole pieces 1 made of strong magnetic material and having their respective cooling water flow holes 2 on the front end sections, are connected to each other by a yoke 12, and a burner head 6 and a burner chamber 9 are also connected with each other by a pipe 8 passing through a hole 10 provided on the yoke 12, and gaps of at least 2-millimeter wide are provided symmetrically between the top surface of the burner head 6 and the bottom surface of the pole piece 1, and besides, the top surface angle of the burner head 6 and the bottom surface angle of the pole piece 1 are made to coincide with each other. By doing so, the magnetic bodies 11 are to become located in the shady side toward radiation from the flame 4, and therefore, while they are being prevented from being heated up, the magnetic flux is impressed onto the flame 4 through a magnetic circuit by the pole piece 1, and at the same time, secondary air 15 flows symmetrically and reaches the flame without giving rise to turbulence.
