Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide large resistance force against the external force in the direction to which a harness is drawn by a mechanism wherein caulking portions of not less than two stages with polygonal sections are formed to a caulking portion of a metallic pipe in the axial direction, and the caulking portions at each stage are made up by shifting phase.
CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower two stages caulking portions 18, 19 with hexagonal sections are mounted to a caulking portion 16, being separated only by a fixed interval d. The upper and lower two stages caulking portions 18, 19 are considered to ensure that their phase is shifted and the ridgelines of each caulking portion 18, 19 are mutually located between the ridgelines of the other caulking portions. Since a harness 6 is deformed in a section shape that does not continue at upper and lower two locations, it has special resistance for against force in the drawing direction, thus preventing the generation of an accident of disconnection, etc. The caulking portion may be formed in the caulking portion with pentagonal or other polygonal sections, or may be formed at three stages or more not two stages at upper and lower positions.
