Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of component members and the number of points to be welded for a planet gear mount, by constructing the mount such that an extention having a certain length is provided on each shorter side of each base portion which is rectangular in shape to make a pair of gear shaft support members, the extensions are then bent at a right angle, and thereafter the tips of the bent extensions of the two gear shaft support members are welded together.
CONSTITUTION: A planet gear mount 5 will be composed of first and second support members 5b, 5d, members for connecting them and a shaft portion 5a, and into the planet gear mount 5 will be inserted a gear shaft 7 of a planet gear 8 which will be meshed with a sun gear 4 and an internal gear 4. A first support member 5b, and a second support member 5d have the same configuration with each other, that is, each has a rectangular base portion 5h having on each shorter side thereof an extension 5i having a predetermined length, the extensions 5i are bent at a right angle, tips of the extensions of each support member are welded to each other, while through holes 5c, 5e, 5g are drilled, and a shaft portion 5a is welded to constitute the planet gear mount 5. Thus the first and second support members have the same configuration to omit elements for connection reducing the number of points to be welded to a large extent.
