Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten a required electrolytic time by a method wherein a pipe connected to a compressor is provided to a lower portion of an electrolytic tank and the ultrasonic oscillation generated when air bubbles rising from permeating pores of the pipe are broken is utilized to strongly stir an electrolytic solution.
CONSTITUTION: When a compressor 5 is operated in initiating the electrolytic action, high pressure air is injected through permeating pores 7 of a pipe 6 to a direction of an anode metal plate 3 and a matrix material 4 to be processed in an upper portion to form air bubble groups. This air bubbles generate the ultrasonic oscillation with about 20kHz when broken to strongly stir an electrolytic solution. When this apparatus is used in the chromium plating, a desired electrolytic time can be shortened by a simple installation.
