Abstract

PURPOSE: A film for agricultural use which has excellent heat-insulation, visible ray transmission and moderate slip and which can be produced at low cost, prepared by adding a borate compound to an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: The film of the purpose is obtained by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with (B) 1W20pts.wt., pref., 3W15pts.wt. of a borate compound. Examples of (B) which is preferably used include barium borate, calcium borate, magnesium borate and zinc borate.
