PURPOSE:To obtain a clock having multidisplays and multifunctions by dividing functions to a plurality of ICs having display driving circuits respectively and transducing a part of data between I.Cs to a serial signal. CONSTITUTION:A second digit driver 309 indicates a decode-display of second data in case of selecting a mode of a standard clock or a world clock. An alphanumerical driver 310 performs a change-over display of 1/10 or 1/100sec degit of stop watch and an abbreviated word of a city name of a world clock corresponding to the mode of employment through the second change-over circuit 308. A calendar driver 311 converts a data transmitted serially from the second tip side to a parallel data at the second register 306 and indciates corresponding to each segment of 1-31 date. A display driver 318 indicates a display data decoded on each segment data of hour and minute, mode, service mark or the like reading from RAM317 directly.
