Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the flow of the sample solution and enable the effective detection by a method wherein a shape varying narrow long penetrating hole is installed in the film type spacer held between the upper and lower mold members and this penetrating hole is made the flowing passage for the sample solution.
CONSTITUTION: Film type spacer 3 is inserted between upper mold member 1 and lower mold member 2 and these are clamped tightly with bolts 4aW4d. Slender groove type hole part 3a and fanwise pentagon hole part 3b are formed in spacer 3 by the cold punching method and others and these hole parts 3a, 3b become passages 5a, 5b for the sample fluid. Separation column 6 of the micro high speed liquid chromatography flows into sample flow inlet 2a of lower mold member 2. In the downstream side of the sample passage in upper mold member 1, are sequentially installed actuating electrode 7, reference electrode 8, sample flow outlet 1a and auxiliary electrode 9. A concave part may be formed at a position in lower mold member 2 corresponding to hole part 3b.
