Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify pipings, and make possible the miniaturization of the device and the arranging by placing in rows or stacking by so constituting the permeating fluid tank-out pipe as to pass through the inside of the flow cylinder member of the reverse osmosis device.
CONSTITUTION: In a titled device constituted by disposing the elements 4 formed with multiple hollow yarns 5 into a bundle shape in single or plural rows within a pressure vessel (shell) 1, it is so constituted that a permeating fluid take-out pipe 14 penetrates through the center of the element 4 (fitting the opening side of the hollow yarn 5 to the fitting ring 13 of the pipe 14 and connecting the pipe 7 and the device) and is supported to cover plates 2, 3 through both side flanges 6, 7. Since said pipe 7 and concentrated water take-out pipe 10 are not mounted to the barrel part of the shell 1 as in the prior art, the pipings of conventinoal method may be simplified and the stacking of the devices is easy. This device is suited for desalting of sea water and production of pure water.
