Abstract
PURPOSE: To smoothly control change in engine revolution in a transitional condition between idling and travelling by controlling air feeding rate, etc. in accordance with a speed signal together with an engine condition detecting signal.
CONSTITUTION: Air feeding rate or mixed air feeding rate is controlled in accordance with a speed signal together with an engine condition detecting signal, revolving condition detecting signal, etc. For example, at an idling operation of an engine 10 with a throttle valve 17 closed, auxiliary air rate which passes an air control valve 30 and fuel injection rate are controlled so that the engine turns at a target revolution speed. Also, during a car is travelling, air feeding rate is controlled in accordance with a rate that is larger among air feed control rates which is based on a signal from a speed sensor 40 and air feed rate which is based on a signal from a revolving speed sensor 18, so that the revolving speed of the engine 10 gradually goes down when the throttle valve is completley closed during the car is travelling.
