Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled sheet which is cured by the absorption of atmospheric mositure and is useful as an adhesive, comprising a component which is a graft copolymer prepared by grafting a specified silane derivative onto an olefin resin.
CONSTITUTION: Onto an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene is grafted a silane derivative represented by the formula: RSiY3, wherein R is an olefinically unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbon group, Y is a hydrolyzable organic group, thereby producing (A) a graft copolymer. Then, to 100pts.wt. of the graft copolymer (A) are added about 2W0.01pt.wt. of a silanol-condensing catalyst (B) such as dibutyltin dilaurate, dibutyltin dioctoate or dibutylamine and a blowing agent (C) such as sodium bicarbonate or dis-azoaminobenzene. The amount of the component (C) is selected so that a foam which is 1.5W3 times the volume of the total composition is obtained. Then, the resulting foam is formed into sheets.
