Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The pipe wear detecting device 2 is provided in the straight pipe line 1. The device 2 consists of the external pipe 2 and the wear detecting short pipe 4. The external pipe 3 is formed as the hollow body cylindrical to the straight pipe line 1 inserted and fixed, and a pressure of P1 is exerted to the hollow part 30. This pressure is detected as electric signal externally with the pressure sensor 6 provided at a suitable location in the hollow 30 of the external pipe 3. The wear detecting short pipe 4 is formed by scraping the external circumference of a part of the straight pipe line 1 for the specified length (l) with a suitable thickness. The inner diameter of the straight pipe line 1 is almost uniformly weared, allowing the wear detection part 4 to be caused first in wear and hole drilling.
