Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve sealing effect, by recovering lubricating oil for the hot-gas operated machine into a container by means of an oil scraper, and recirculating the same to the lubricating system. CONSTITUTION:The hot-gas operated machine shown in the drawing consists of a heater 1, cooler 2 and heat accumulator 3. Downwardly of a piston 5, there are disposed an oil scraper 14 and a cap seal 12 through which a rod 6 is extended in freely slidable manner. Between the cap seal 12 and the oil scraper 14, there is formed a chamber 13 into which fuel scraped off by the scraper 14 is dropped. The chamber 13 is connected to a gas-oil seaprating container 20 via a connecting pipe 22. The bottom of container 20 is communicated to a crank case 10 via a recirculating pipe 19 having a solenoid valve 25. With such an arrangement, when the amount of oil collected in the container 20 becomes greater than a predetermined volume, the solenoid valve 25 is opened through operation of a float switch 24 which is interconnected to a float 23 in the container 20, so as to recirculate the oil into the crank case 10.
