Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the installation cost of facilities for injecting NH3 into high- temperature gas contg. NOx by improving the rate of denitration in the noncatalytic reduction denitrating method for waste gas by installing means for controlling NH3 and H2 produced by thermal decomposition of NH3 separately and independently.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for injecting NH3 and H2 while controlling their flow rates according to fluctuations of the temp. of waste gas in the noncatalytic reduction denitrating method for waste gas, NH3 gas from NH3 tank 1 is branched to system 4 of H2 gas producer 5 making use of high-temperature decomposition of NH3 gas and to injection system 9 for the NH3 gas. The amt. of gaseous NH3 flowing through each system is regulated by valves 6 and 7 and supplied to injection pipe 12. Thus, sources for two kinds of NH3 and H2 are combined into one NH3 source to reduce the cost of facilities
