Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the fibzillation characteristic of a multifilament by dividing spinned multifilament into two filament groups or more in spinned yarn direct stretching process.
CONSTITUTION: Two filament groups Y1 and Y2 which were spinned out in a molten state from a nozzle 1 and stretched are heat-processed by a drawing roller 7 as needed and taken, up in two cheese-like mounts onto a bobbin 9 through guides 8 and 8'. This bobbin 9 having two mount forms is fed into fiber separating process, and inserted onto the rotatable holder 12 in the creel part, and the filament groups Y1 and Y2 on the bobbin 9 are taken out in the direction nearly perpendicular to the axial direction of the bobbin 9 at the same time, and fibrillated into monofilaments by fibrillation guides 13 and 13' and taken up as monofilaments on a multibobbin 14 respectively. Thus, entanglement between single yarns is lessened, and its fibrillation characteristic can be improved remarkably.
