Abstract
PURPOSE:To make reliability higher by disposing a polarizing plate behind a light splitter. CONSTITUTION:A polarizing plate 51 which removes the polarization components that can be diffracted by a light splitter 16 is disposed between a pentagonal prism 18 and an eyepiece 19 or between the eyepiece 19 and eyes 20 or between the pentagonal prism 18 and a condenser lens 17 or further between the condenser lens 17 and the light splitter 16. As a result, at the time the light from outside enters the light splitter 16 after having been imaged on a focus glass 15 by a taking lens 10 and enters the eyes 20 past the condenser lens 17 etc., the light on the optical axis reverse incident to the light splitter 16 past the polarizing plate 51 becomes only the P polarized component with respect to the diffracrion grating of the light splitter 16 and is hardly deffracted; in addition, the liminous flux once reflected and entering the diffraction grating again is more diffracted, thus the errors of photometry are removed.
