Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the heat panel from explosion caused by overheat in the heat panel arranged under a floor and convenient for use as a floor heater by a method wherein a leak valve is provided for expanded vapor of a medium liquid.
CONSTITUTION: In the heat panel, an evaporating portion 1 heated by an electric heater etc. is provided at one side end of the panel, a condensing portion 2 is at the other side end thereof and these portions 1, 2 are connected through evaporating passages 3 composed of a plurality of parallel pipes. Part of the evaporating passages 3 are projected in a nozzle form and sealed by a low fusing point alloy 5 to form a leak valve 4. Therefore, when the vapor of the medium liquid is overheated by a fire, an electric leak and the like, discharge of the vapor is made possible by melting of the low fusing point alloy 5 and the heat panel is kept from explosion. In Addition, the leak valve can be made up also so that it is closed when the open end of the nozzle is operated by a spring.
