Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a product excellent in stability with a high gas transmissibility and water permeability by hard-molding are aqueous medium thermosetting resin emulsion-impregnated fiber base material being foamed with a heat-hardening die to which it was introduced after preheated.
CONSTITUTION: A continuous filament 6 stretching lengthwise, such as glass robing, is empolyed to compose a fiber, and a non-woven cloth 7, another group of continuous filaments and a mat base material are used as required. The material is processed by internally continous draw-molding to produce the porous fiber- reinforced resin. Here, as a matrix, aqueous medium thermo-setting resin emulsion made of nonsaturated polyester resin or the like is employed. A fiber base material impregnated with the said emulsion under a resin bath 2 is introduced into a pre- heating furnace 3 and preheated immediately before gelation. It is introduced into a heat molding die 4 and hard-molded being foamed through evaporation of the said aqueous medium. General heating condition is 100W170°C in the temperature for 0.5W10min.
